    New Forms aims to provide architects with a useful tool, starting with the very first, perhaps most crucial instant of any new project - the creative moment. It is based on the concept that while architectural projects clearly require a certain location and a client brief indicating specifications and budget, they also involve the very personal resolve of an architect to follow up on an initial creative spark. That inspirational, intellectual moment - consisting of aspects such as forms, colours, materials and transparencies - needs this resolve to carry it through the successive phases to realization.
    In this book, a series of architectural projects are presented where innovative form has particular significance. Presentation is by order of size, starting with detached family homes through to large public complexes such as university buildings and concert halls...
