    全套书共8册，参照美国目前的“共同核心标准”（Common Core State Standards）以及各年级教学资源而编写，大致对应西方高中以前的各个年级（Grade 1-8）。每册内容包括50篇课文，由加拿大具有15年ESL教学经验的老师精选最新科学短文，加上配套词汇与阅读理解训练，可供学生在一年内使用。全书图文结合，彩色印制，帮助读者更好地学习和理解科学知识，同时强化英语。韦恩·艾弗里特编著的《跟美国学生同步学科学(Grade8)(英文版)》是其中一本。
