    北京航空航天大学出版社承办《单片机与嵌入式系统应用》杂志，有独特的有利条件：其一，杂志社能充分利用出版社的编辑、出版资源；其二，是北京航空航天大学出版社多年来在单片机与嵌入式系统图书出版方面的权威地位，以及与单片机学会、专家、产业界的密切合作。因此，《单片机与嵌入式系统应用》杂志社可充分利用这些条件，做好读者、作者服务以及为嵌入式系统企业的服务工作。
    本期刊定位在单片机与嵌入式系统的基础应用领域。从学科上看单片机与嵌入式系统是同一领域的概念，考虑到嵌入式系统中单片机的独立发展阶段，以及单片机与嵌入式系统不同理解的客观背景，同时保留下“单片机”与“嵌入式系统”。
    本刊定位的“应用”是“基础应用”，以区别一般渉电期刊中的单片机与嵌入式系统应用。后者通常是某一技术领域中的工程或项目应用。本刊的“基础应用”则突出单片机与嵌入式系统中一些基本的软硬件技术、集成开发环境、新产品、新技术等。
    何立民主编的《单片机与嵌入式系统应用(2017年第6期第17卷总第198期)》是其中一本。
