内容提要

  

    刘来毅、杜晓军主编的《计算机专业英语》是为高等院校计算机相关专业编写的英语教材，主要目的是让学生通过本书的学习，既能掌握一定的专业术语、扩大知识面，又能提高阅读和翻译专业英语文献资料的能力，并通过课堂英语交流，提高学生的英语口语能力，从而能更好地适应信息社会对计算机人才的要求。
    本书分为计算机基础、网络和软件三部分，其中计算机基础部分有7篇文章，主要包括计算机概述、windows简介、计算机发展史、存储器、通信介质、计算机病毒和人工智能7方面的内容；网络部分有6篇文章，包括局域网、互联网、移动通信、物联网、协议和搜索引擎6方面的内容；软件部分有11篇文章，包括Office 365、Photoshop、Adobe PremierePro、计算机语言、数据库应用、TurboSquid for 3ds Max、After Effects、MacromediaDreamweaver、Adobe Fireworks、Quickq、ime和Animate CC等方面的内容。每篇文章都包括导读、正文、重点词汇、扩展词汇、口语练习、练习题和译文7部分。
    本书在编写过程中本着简明、易学、实用的原则，语言流畅、通俗易懂、图文并茂。初学者只要对照本书的所讲内容就能很快的掌握计算机专业方面的英语知识。
