    第6版格外重视项目管里中的战略与业务知识方面,前三章对涉及项目管理的业务文档进行了讨论第6版增加了一个有关项目经理角色的新章节,专门讨论“PMI?人才三角”及组织对项目经理的技能组合要求,这些技能让项目经理更具竞争力,并且在技术、领导能力、战略和商业管理方面更有相关性。第6版相比5版,增加了一个项目管理标准(美国国家标准:ASBI/PMI99-001-2017),这也是第6版比第5版增加篇幅的主要原因。 第6版内容与敏捷项目管理由密切的相关性,PMI也首次推出了《敏捷项目实践指南》。
    《敏捷项目实践指南》中英文版将于2018年6月由电子工业出版社出版。本书利用一种专利防伪印刷技术印刷,旨在防止未经授权擅自复制。纸张为灰色,而不是白色。复印或扫描本书页面时,背景中隐藏的警告信息就会显示出来。这种安全措施旨在阻止一切对本书的非法复制或伪造企图。
