    人们常说，东西方具有不同的法观。本书收录了2015年至2017年在中国浙江大学和中国政法大学举行的一系列法学术会议上提交的英文论文，涵盖刑法、海上武装冲突法和国际法有效控制原则中的诸多热点问题，是集中体现这些领域东西方法观的新研究成果。本书收录的论文都是从参加上述法学术会议上提交的英文论文中精挑细选出来的，论文的作者不仅包括法学界的学者，还包括刑事法庭中的实务人士和崭露头角的青年学者。对于关注刑法、海上武装冲突法和法有效控制原则的人来说，本书是一本难得的呈现东西方学者观点的英文论文集。
