    本书分为两大部分：上篇为2020年国际形势专题评述，包括“大国国情与外交”“主要地区形势”和“国际及地区问题”三章，共16篇文章；下篇为2020年中国外交评析，包括“中国外交布局”“中国与国家及地区关系”和“领域外交”三章，共19篇文章。本书认为，2020年是人类历史上非常特殊的一年。突如其来的新冠肺炎疫情袭击世界各国，百年未有之大变局与世纪罕见之大疫情交织叠加，国际形势和国际格局进一步向纵深演变。中国人民在以习近平同志为核心的党中央坚强领导下，万众一心，率先控制疫情，以元首外交为引领，以团结抗疫为主线，捍卫国家利益、维护全球稳定。
