    王守宏、李楠主编的《中美文化透视与思辨》涵盖了中国和美国两个国家的常见文化知识和风俗常识，分为“地理”、“教育”、“饮食和餐桌礼仪”、“节日”、“婚俗”、“文学”、“医药”、“绘画艺术”、“建筑”、“电影”和“体育”十二个章节。每个章节不但有整体的文化知识简介，而且从某一个文化现象作为切入点，详细介绍相关的风俗常识；并在每一章里列举了相关的延伸阅读课文作为补充，以便加深学生对文化常识的了解和掌握；而且每一章还包括跨文化交际思辨问题若干，引导学生对比分析不同文化现象，提高了学生对文化差异的敏感性和宽容性。
