    本教材选取航天科技领域学术期刊或学术会议论文集中的真实语料，以话题进行单元划分。每个单元选取一种科技英语交流中典型的体裁类型语篇，如实验报告、项目书、文献综述、研究论文等，同时每个语篇中包含某种或几种科技语篇中常见的表达方式，如下定义、原理描述、图表描述、文献引用等等。根据不同体裁特征和表达方式特点，设计有针对性的阅读、写作和口头表达任务和练习，帮助学习者更好地认识和掌握不同交流目的下科技英语语篇构成所使用的不同体裁结构和交流策略，培养和提高学习者书面和口头正确应用各种科技语篇类型进行有效交流的能力。
