    影像记录历史，影像传承文明。本书以图文并茂的影像志形式让我们认知中国的重要农业文化遗产，促进中华优秀传统文化的传播，探索科学的保护和传承办法。“农耕文化是我国农业的宝贵财富，是中华文化的重要组成部分，不仅不能丢，而且要不断发扬光大。”
    本书以中英文版的方式，将在中国的农业文化遗产影响世界农业可持续发展和乡村振兴，以及继续引领国际农业文化遗产保护运动，进一步推进中华优秀农耕文化走向世界等方面能发挥应有的作用。

内容提要

  

    中国重要农业文化遗产是指人类与其所处环境长期协同发展中，创造并传承至今的独特的农业生产系统，具有丰富的农业生物多样性、传统知识与技术体系和独特的生态与文化景观等，对我国农业文化传承、农业可持续发展和农业功能拓展具有重要的科学价值和实践意义。
    本书汇编了原农业部发布的第一、二批中国重要农业文化遗产，共39项(其中含全球重要农业文化遗产15项)，按照地域分布图文并茂地展现了各重要农业文化遗产的景观特色、产品特点、气候条件和耕作技术，以及相关民俗文化活动等，以影像志的形式展现了中华民族传统文明风貌和传统文明发展历程，将极大地提高公众的农业文化遗产保护意识，成为我国农业文化向世界展示的一扇窗，助力新时代乡村振兴发展战略。
